I hаd used 6 different web hosting services fοr thе past few years. Thеrе hаd bееn many times whеn mу sites experienced downtime аnd іt took 2 tο 3 days fοr technical support tο step іn. Each time, thе reason given fοr thе downtime wаѕ еіthеr wаѕ due tο technical errors οr corrupted servers. I really, really a need better аnd reliable web hosting service.

I am wondering if you went for any of those ‘cheap’ hosts that gave you a ton of other free goodies. Anyway… it might also be a good idea to try out hosts that offer you set disk space and bandwidth if you are not satisfied with the unlimited hosts. Have a look at : http://websites101.devhub.com/reliable-web-hosts/ that has some good reliable hosts that you might want to consider. Downtown would be a great choice… talk to them and you’ll know that they are serious folks. So are Inmotion if you’d prefer sightly cheaper prices. But either way don’t go for too cheap ones.

I’ve experienced the same thing as you did. And those were with the big and popular companies. Some companies only put that guarantee on their sites just to attract customers, and not able to deliver it.

Their customer support is top notch. They responded my tickets under 45 minutes and even on weekends! haha..
Anyhow, choose your hosting wisely, and beware of people who suggest some hostings just to get their referral commission from the companies.
